Ok, this week has been nothing but interesting for me. Hell this past couple of months has been nothing but interesting. First off, as many of you know, I lost my job at Chase bank. This is a bummer only because the pay was really nice. However, the job was incredibly shitty. The job was super boring, I never liked what I was doing and the managers there should have worked for Hitler.
So when I lost the job, I was definately not all that sad about it. Also, the job put me in San Diego, but now that I lost the job, I'm back in Oceanside. I don't like San Diego, it's just not the place for me.

So after I lost my job, I immediately started looking for another one. Hopefully one that would pay me at least close to what Chase paid me. Having no such luck for the first couple of days, I went to the temp agency to get me something to help pay bills for a while until I got something better. Lucky for me, and after a bit of hardship, they put me with a company I had work for through the temp agency before. I knew the people there, and they loved the work I did for them, so they were eager to have me start.

During this transition I've been in the long process of moving and getting my life back together, I've been out of work for a week and a half so I missed most of my first paycheck already. So here I am, struggling to keep things going, keep bills paid and do what I can to earn as much money as I can at my new temp job. Suddenly, about a couple of weeks into my job, I hear about some job openings coming up at the company I'm temping for. Hearing this, I put in my resume and application and hope for the best. Hey they loved the work I do for them as a temp, right? I think they would be glad to hire me on.

About a week after I put in my application, I get pulled into the office to meet up with the building manager and my two Supervisors. They said that they have looked over my application and they said they want to hire me on, but for something better then the positions I applied for. You see, in my resume I put I have been going to school to get my BS in Computer Engineering. I've also gotten into conversations about how I want to go back to school to finish out my AA and BS and start out my career in the IT field. Well, turns that the building IT guy is moving up to the main branch for the company, and they want me to try out for the position for their new IT guy.

Ok, when they said they wanted me to try out for the position, I couldn't believe my ears. When they said that they would send me to school for my certification training for free, I thought I was dreaming. I seriously would have been disappointed if I woke up. I said yes and the interview process began. The whole next week was nothing but stress, nervousness and excitement for me. There were nights during the week where I couldn't get any sleep, and I had to fight through my current job to get through the day, much less the interviews that I got from the building manager, the head supervisor and the HQ department. Now that was interesting. They had their head IT guys drill me almost down to China with questions, testing my knowledge of computers. I even found out that I had competition for the position, and that made me even more nervous.

I must have done something right. I don't know what, but I must have. I GOT THE JOB!!!! Turns out they liked me enough to give me the head IT position for my building! I nearly kissed the guy that told me. I was grinning from ear to ear the entire day, doing all I could to keep my excitement down until I got home. This is a once in a life time chance. The IT field is already super hard to get into, and here I am getting the job, and having my schooling paid for me so I can learn more about the job. I got my dream job, the job I've been breaking my bank trying to go to school for. And not only that, but I get a partner in crime to help me out with it. Turns out they hired the other guy going for the job a job as my assistant, so when I'm not there, he takes over.

This kicks total ass! After everything was said and done and the work day was over, I was all giggles and grins the entire way home and for the rest of the day. X3

So yeah, I got myself a new job and I'm happy! The only bad thing about the week was that me and Verix broke things off between us. It was a mutual agreement, really. We both thought the relationship wasn't going anywhere so we are back to being good friends, and I'm pretty sure we think it's better that way. But other then that, happiness all around. I go in on Monday to find out my salary pay, hours and all that good stuff. Wish me luck everyone! Take care, stay frosty and Later Dayz ;3
